Am I the only one who finds it weird that Hizashi is able to activate his byakugan after he died? I seem to remember something about the Hyuuga curse-seal locking away the byakugan when the branch-family member dies. If you have an explaination, I encourage you to share it with me.

the byakugan gets sealed when a branch member dies to protect the eyes being used by other lands or people.
hizashi can activate it because when he was summoned, he is technically reanimated as he was before he died. meaning he should be able to use his eyes....
its like cloning, when you clone something, it doesn't mean that just because the original got hurt this way that the clone should have that injury too....

well, technically when one gets reanimated its not that persons actual body. there has to be a sacrifice so that it can work. the sacrificed persons soul is then replaced by the dead soul and that person gains all traits and abilities of the reanimated person. at least that my take on it.

His soul was pulled back with his previous juitsu and dojuitsu intact according to Kabuto. And Sauske agrees to take Itachis' eyes after his battle with Danzo and he talks crap to Nartuo. Then Madra/Tobi or Kabuto(more than likely as a medical ninja) transplanted the MS from Itachi to Sauske.

Don't steal what are other users are saying dude!

Anyway, Hizashi can activate his Byakugan because of the edo tensie technique that kabuto used it to bring him back to life, it's in the abilities of the technique that the user which is Kabuto can use all of the original techniques of the summoned body as long as he has got enough of his DNA to bring the dead body back to life.
