Ive Said it before and ill say it again... About Danzo...

I think Danzo is Obito... or at least has his eye...

think about it...
Obito was crushed on one side of his body.... danzo has a metal arm...
danzo has one sharingan eye...
surprisingly the opposite eye of kakashi
Coincidence?
He also has the right age...
and he has scars all on his face...

my possible explanations for him being Obito or LINKED to Obito are...

A. Orochimaru found him and saved him... and fixed him up with the metal arm thingy...
B. Orochimaru found him dead and used Forbidden jutsus to revive him...
C. Orochimaru found obito's BODY and transplanted his eye into some other person...
I Deffinitely think that it is Obito's Eye...
D. The enemy ninjas from kakashi gaiden may have stumbled across Obito's body and... etc etc...
E. he may have had help from Madara or something although i doubt it...
F. (or the most unlikely scenario) Obito escaped on his own and got help...

If he IS in fact Obito...
Then the most likely person to be responsible for his recovery is Orochimaru...
because of his interest in the sharingan and the bizzare metal exoskeleton danzo has.
It also explains Danzo's Connection to Orochimaru. Because the two have met before.

Orochimaru is scared of death, he states he wants to become immortal, orochimaru is very smart, i am sure he doesn't want to perform a forbidden jutsu on himself.

Personally orochimaru found obito, danzo was in league with oro and root etc, and danzo may have been terminally ill, and orochimaru convinced danzo to be a lab rat given he was gonna die soon anyway, and danzo got soul transferred into obito.

Thats pure speculation, but it isnt too "out there" really when you think about it.

Your theory makes sense. There are a number of ways that he could've obtained the sharingan. Maybe he IS a uchiha anyway, and managed to make it so nobody knew?

i believe that oro had to transplant it in danzo because he planned to take his body and there was no point in trying to put it in a body that he was going to leave in a few years anyways so he put it in danzo thinking that he would take over his body later
