I've only got one major question after this chapter...

...Did Obito just turn around after this? I mean, Kakashi thought Obito was dead until their fight now, almost two decades later, so Obito can't have fought Kakashi or started yelling at him or anything. But I still can't see Obito just heading back to Madara immediately without trying to get a few answers first.

Something's definitely up. What do you think? I (quite obviously) believe something's not right. Those two just happened to there alone, with Obito wearing a Zetsu, having looked into Madara's eyes and having his vision getting all blurry before seeing his former teammates.

Also, I am well aware that we can't know for sure and that we'll get our answers in due time. I just want to know what you guys think.

I thinl that in times of super stress obito sees what kakashi sees. Also I think kakashi is under genjutsu that's why his vision is blurry and then becomes clear once he kills rin. And as for obito making a scene that he is there....well have to wait and see.

he probably had and emotional breakdown....then zetsu body brought him back

then by the time he gathered his thought madara had him heading down the moons eye plan path so he said screw kakashi ill get him when the plan is complete

Maybe Zetsu forced him to go back, and that's why he wasn't able to get any answers from Kakashi. After all he's the one who is in control of Obitos movements, and is going to fight for him. If he gets seriously injured or outnumbered he'd be forced to retreat regardless. Or maybe Minato showed up idk there's just too many possibilities to come up with something concrete at the moment.

It was very vague but Kakashi never met obito after his supposed death at kannabi bridge and I'd imagine obito is going to attack immediately next chapter so I doubt that's indeed Kakashi

zetsu said he is stronger then obito meaning if he doesnt let obito go he cant because he is cased in zetsu

I think Zetsu had a lot of influence in this, and I think Obito got too emotional and went back.

If I had to guess, I'd say Obito will conceal his face with the swirly Zetsu and attack Kakashi. The only problem with that would of course be that he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut or keep his Sharingan hidden...

Yeah I was sort of hoping he'd leave Zetsu's body at the hideout. I don't like all these weird powers that come with Senju DNA (or the fact that it's a scientific abomination...or the fact that it's so easy to implant it to everyone and everything).

I really hope so. I'm guessing the flashbacks will continue for a few more weeks...he'll have to return to Madara for training and history classes (for lack of a better term)...but he really has to do SOMETHING about Kakashi, doesn't he? I can't imagine him instantly pulling a 180 on us.

He should at least attend to Rin's corpse and see what she has to say...

The only problem with that is the jutsu Kakashi used.

Besides, Rin died at some point...And this is most likely how. We just don't know the details surrounding Kakashi's motives.

You mean chidori? Zetsu uses chakra stolen from the person to perform the transformation. He should be able to perform any jutsu the person can use.
I think Zetsu probably set Rin and Kakashi up to be surrounded by mist ninjas. Kakashi somehow escaped but Rin died.

For sure, as it stands now we need more flashbacks (even if they do suck). I think Obito may have been forced to leave by Zetsu, or Minato came and took both Kakashi and Rin. Either way something had to have stopped him from confronting Kakashi otherwise Kakashi wouldn't have been so shocked at the sight of Tobi being Obito.

That's the thing, can Zetsu copy signature techs like Chidori? I don't recall seeing him do anything like that before. He tried using a Shark Bullet Tech against Bee, but that was nothing but a mere bluff.
