In England they have a school where the floor, both inside and outside, are made up of panels that generate electricity whenever the students step on them, giving a clean source of energy whenever the students change classes or have a break/ recess. Plans are in the works to have these panels added to busy city centers and other areas of high human traffic and if it catches on simply going for a walk can generate clean energy.
So, yeah, this is possible and could maybe be the norm in say 10 years, probably even less.![]()
