... as how it wasn't shown about the pirates not chasing after the Devil Fruits.
We only see that about Ace's fruit since it was a powerful fruit.
All we have seen is that the strong pirates already ate the fruit and are presented in the manga.
We only know about SHs story and their DFs.

Apart from that, it's still unknown about what abilities you will get after eating a certain DF. And still all the strong willed pirates got amazing DF abilities.

ofc you can know what power the df hold , sanj had a book that have all the df (or many of them), so you can know what df if you do your home work a bout it just like teach he knew that sach was holding the yynm cause he was searching for it

It's not like all the big names got the best DFs ... the guys with the best DFs BECAME big names !!

I don't agree on this one (though the statement is true on a normal argument) In case of One Piece there are people who doesn't have DF abilities but are strong.
eg : Shanks, Gol D Roger (not confirm), Monkey D. Garp

Neither the DF make the Man, nor do the man make the DF. Its all about the training, though we can't act like there aren't exceptions to this rule.

Ι agree. I think that the DF's just bring out the true potential of the "being" using them(in the right way). With that said, give WB the bara-bara no Mi of Buggy. He would still be pretty OP, had he 'unlocked' the potential of the fruit. That's my opinion at least. v_v

I didn't deny that fact ! I spoke about big names with DF . All i say is the guys with powerful DFs trained and became a big shot and not the other way around ! the fact that there are some people without DF but absolutely strong is not relevant to my discussion although is totally True (as you mentioned them)
