I mean had Sasuke battled Nagato who uses Rinnengan, then surely Sasuke would have learned a lot of Rinnengan moves. I know Sasuke with Sharingan only can't use Rinnengan techniques, but when Sasuke unlocks Rinnengan then Sasuke would know of more rinnengan techniques.

Nagato is the only one that used Preta Path as a barrier which is impressive. Preta Path can be used for offense and defense.

Amatersu was proven by Kaguya to get absorbed too.
So if Sasuke wants to get close to nagato with Ameno, that wouldn't be a dangerous idea with shrina tensei being there within his arsenal. Not saying it can't be done but is that what he's gonna use to beat him?

There is one jutsu that might be able to kill Nagato, it depends if Preta Path works on it or not. Sasuke can use Kirin to kill Nagato.

If Preta Path works then Sasuke is in trouble, if Preta Path fails then Sasuke wins.
