It is quite sad to think all the females in Naruto were dreaming about something related to guys. The lack of ambition is real and the thirst is real.

fenakes? I think you mean females and most of the guys were dreaming girls. It's normal.

Well given the fact that most of the girls shown in IT were teenagers it was not so surprising. That's pretty much what they did with the boys too!

Personally I couldn't give a damn about guys or romance. Been there, done that in my teens. I can live without it.

Kishimoto has a slightly old fashioned view of females, and it's expected of a woman to want to find that special guy and settle down with him, or be the center of attention with more than one guy. Typical Anime/Manga humor.
That's why it's so fun to have a female character who could careless about guys or any of that stuff.

It's part of the old-fashioned thinking of the Japanese I believe. Throughout the mangas, the females usually serve some purpose for the male characters in this manga rather than trying to help themselves.

But Kishi is kind of mediocre when it comes to developing females so it's to be expected

It's rare in Shonen Manga, and I love those female characters best!

Olivier Armstrong and Riza Hawkeye from FMA:Brotherhood are some of my favorite anime characters exactly for that reason.Rukia is also a character who never felt any sort of attraction to the MC despite people shipping them.

Hinata has always wanted to be with Naruto, it's no surprise that they would end up together in her dream.

Ino's personality would definitely want two guys fighting over her, so that isn't surprising either.

Tenten is just happy as she is now, but would like her friends to be more appropriate. There isn't anything wrong with liking your current life and changing it up a little bit.

Mei is a kage, she has already accomplished one of the hardest things to do in the ninja world. After becoming a kage finding her own happiness with a guy in a dreamland sounds fine.

Tsunade had a hard life. Her brother died, dan died, jaraiya died, Orochimaru left them. They all just happen to be guys, but they are the people closest to her, and that makes her happy.

It isn't sad at all.

Damn i feel like this thread is full of feminist. Kishi is making it clear that women are only good for three things. Cooking, Cleaning, and Making babies..

Most women are like this. Same when the roles are reversed.

Those dreams are consistent with their characters anyway.
