Now that Hashirama has talk no jutsued Sasuke into turning good and siding with the leaf, there's nothing left for Naruto to do in this manga. He'd failed to bring Sasuke back, failed to protect Neiji and the rest who fell in the battle, failed to put a scratch on Madara.
The 4 kages+Sasuke and team will end this war soon.

So what was the point of Naruto lol or even him having the 9 tails? I just don't see a reason for Naruto anymore, there's no need for him in this war. Naruto should just let them pull the 9 tails fox out of his body and give it to Sasuke; making Sasuke the first Uchia Hokage.

I don't recall seeing the Fire Daimyo's wife sing just yet.

Which means it isn't over.

There is still a -lot- that can happen in the given space. Plus - Sasuke isn't exactly "good" - he's just decided that Madara's goals and his goals are mutually exclusive. He said that he's not going to let the village system and the conviction of others go to waste. Which, again, doesn't necessarily mean he's "good."

He has, however, temporarily stopped being a douche - which is a nice improvement.

No, you're wrong. It's all thanks to Itachi who'd stopped kabuto and his edo tensei, The half dead kages who stalled Madara for long enough until Bee and Naruto arrived at the battlefield and lastly Kakashi who'd countered Obito and prevented Naruto' death countless times by the kamui. You could also add Hinata who slapped the shit outta him to prevent him from getting pulled into the dark side by Obito.

Why so much hate for the OP? He actually has a point. People were hoping for a dramatic ending with Naruto vs. Sasuke. But if Sasuke decides not to kill Konoha shinobi anymore, that rules out that plot. If the manga ends with this war, basically the manga was a war to stop MADARA. A character that was barely relevant for 90% of the manga time.

In the end, I suspect that the manga will end with the Uchiha clan being revived, living peacefully alongside with the Uzumakis and Senjus (if somehow revived).
