Its official, theres a Bleach movie in the making!!!

I have mixed feelings about this. Im happy because i've always wanted an anime of bleach's calibur to be made into a legit movie. But im also deeply saddened by the fact i know its gonna fall on its face like dragonball. Its just too hard in this day and age to make a movie with that level of special effects and not make it look corny and lame, especially with the low budget most anime/manga-turned movies have. Im sure whats gonna happen is they're gonna dumb down all the powers and make the whole movie take place in some random city. No soul society, and if there is im sure it wont be anything like the one we know. And i hope to GOD that they dont change TOO much of the story or characters.

Since M Night. Shamalmalaalmalamalalama isn't directing it, there's some hope. He ruined DB and Avatar.

This might be good, or not. What they need to do is get an awesome director+big budget and make said anime amazing.
