Trump went to the U.N.

“My administration has accomplished more than any other president”

Everyone laughs at him.

“I wasn’t expecting that response”

——————————————————-

I give it a week until a full on world war starts.

U.S. vs everyone

Later on, he said would be immigrants should make their counties great. Isn’t that what South Africa was trying to do? But everyone got pissed?

I haven't watched it yet but being laughed doesn't make him right or wrong.
Under his own definition of a good leader, a president should never be laughed at. He wrote on twitter during Obama’s administration, that the world was laughing, so he should be removed for a better leader.

Should he take his own advice?

That doesn't mean fit his definiton unless he spelled it out, or whether their laughter was right or wrong. In Obama's case he was implying that Obama made America into a laughing stock. I don't like Trump but I wouldn't let bias cloud my judgement, try and look for context of statements before making claims about them.

On another note in my country the Labour(socialists) is holding it's anual conference. I was watching Labour supporters being asked whether it's time for a female leader? Everybody was saying yes the next leader should be female to show they're progressive. I found it disgusting and discriminatory that they would select a women to show progress instead of consider all candidates(male or female) based on their merits.

The point I'm making is don't let bias cloud your judgement like these clowns.

Well, when everyone is qualified, the little or big things matter more. Leaders are suppose to be a symbol as well.

I think it's sad, sometimes I can't tell if people hate him cus he is morally wrong or because he is just a dufus.
He doesn't exactly inspire competence.

It's also why I can't take him seriously as Hitler. I think the people voting for him are closer to being Hitler than he is.

People say people should be afraid of him cus he is such an unstable person in a position of power, that to me sounds more like nazi talk than when he and Roseanne Barr are being stupid and racist.

Cus that reminds me of stories when people would lock up stupid people in institutions and sterelize them so they wouldn't infect society, that to me is real nazism.´, and I'm sure under different circumstances "normal" people would want that to happen to someone like Trump.

I think that was genuine laughter because it was at the UN and no one was expecting a speech that belongs at a rally - gearing towards his supporters. Trump (to give him credit) lighten the mood with that comment IMO.

POTUS was reacting to a comment made by an individual in attendance, which prompted the laugh as POTUS fielded the comment/shout.

But the headlines don't tell that story.

In other news, North and South Korea just ended the Korean war. That is something I, honestly, thought I would never see happen.

I can't take Trump or his fanbase seriously. I get that some people want him to shake things up but there are so many people who are just mesmerized or something they say whatever dumb silly things he thinks will make him popular or something.
I don't understand it.

That's because only stupid people are able to grasp illogical thinking.

I want to understand, I really do, but I don't. Is he some kind of peoples champion? But like psychologically or something and not economically? Are most people disconnected from politics so they vote for a celebrity? I don't get it. It shouldn't work but it does.
Also, maybe it proves ambition wins over talent, so that's good news for me right now lol.
It's kinda sad how I bet people will hate on him when he is gone, I don't think he will be remembered for good things, that's sad to me.

Then learn to ask the right questions.

but I don't.
The problem is that you have a pre-defined idea of what the answer must be, and therefor exclude all evidence and proposals to the contrary of that PREception.

Ask yourself: "Has America's economy suffered?"
"Has America's economy REALLY suffered?"

Define Economy.
What role does the American voter play in the economy?
What metrics are relevant to the American voter?
Have those metrics improved?
Are employment options increasing, or decreasing?
What are the bases to an economy?
What is infrastructure? Investment?
Have these, into America, improved?
ALCOA steel.
Nucore steel.

I don't get it. It shouldn't work but it does.
Because you think you already have the answer.

Your answer: "Trump is a celebrity con-man." You believe yourself educated and informed. You believe your judgment of the situation to be accurate and sound enough to be the standard of reality.

Also, maybe it proves ambition wins over talent, so that's good news for me right now lol.
Trump was heavily influenced by a Presbyterian pastor who was very adamant about the power of positive thinking. You are going to go in, and you are going to win. You aren't going to try to win. You aren't going to 'give it your best shot.' You're going to succeed. If you are met with an obstacle to that success, you are going to find a way around that obstacle.

That isn't to say, of course, that Trump has no talent.

It's kinda sad how I bet people will hate on him when he is gone, I don't think he will be remembered for good things, that's sad to me.
What bad things would he be remembered for? Give me some events that are Trump's doing that he would be remembered for as "bad."

No - not what the media has labeled as bad in the headlines.

What the people will remember as being bad things Trump did as President of the United States.

Trump has not celebrated in any way LGBT groups. Not even during their history month. Even his 2nd in command attended an anti gay event.

So, there. One instance of something bad to be remembered.

I don't understand pewdiepie's fame either.

I'm gonna go through your stuff just a sec...

He has fans, but he doesn't have friends, people are gonna spit on his grave and then their parents are gonna give them a pat on their shoulder saying "good job son."

Actually no he has no talent, if he didn't have fame he would realize that he is a loser.
He can't stand that fact, he blinds himself with pretending he has some sort of godlike power or something.

That's what people are saying and it's hard to argue against it but I'm not so sure honestly.

I don't by that he is good with money, and he is not a socialist, he is a spoiled brat, people rooted for him cus they felt victimized or something and they liked that someone shaked things up is my bet. But I don't know.

The problem is that you have a pre-defined idea of what the answer must be, and therefor exclude all evidence and proposals to the contrary of that PREception.

My assumption is that...he somehow knows "people", like he knows what people listen and respond too. In a way I think he is very liberal, I can't describe it better. He is the opposite of that but he is like, funny ot something.'

Thank you for responding though.

I think everyone should be laughing at EU instead for wanting to pass such a idiotic copyright law/link tax/meme ban/Article 13.
I have been busy lately so I haven't payed much attention to the news but I saw something about the EU banning memes indirectly or something, what the hell xD?

I don't know if I would be a better president though. Maybe I'm lucky I don't want to be president. I couldn't get there of course I'm not born etc, but like I'm not in that situation.

It's legit the same thing. Trump criticized Obama for making the U.S into a laughing stock. Now, more than ever, countries think the current administration is full of shit and mock him straight up, and yet those own words of his don't apply to him?
