It's official, Disney is killing MArvel titles they don't own movie rights to.

First I thought it was outlandish thinking but the more and more they do it becomes clear. They pull Deadpool from the shelves and Steam along with other X-Men and Spider-Man titles.

They announce before announcing Sony has worked out a deal that Peter Parker will be wiped from Marvel continuity and Miles Morales will become the "real" Spider-Man; the one who dates MJ, the one who kills Gwen(accidentally), the one who is bitten by a spider.

Now, they turn Iceman gay. Disney is notorious for disliking gay life styles, why would they approve a character they have rights to becoming gay unless they know they'll never touch him. The X-Men already have gay characters so why make one of the most iconic characters a negative in your perspective(Disney) if for no other reason then to attempt to diminish their fanbase. Disney dislikes homosexuals so they think if they make Iceman gay then popularity will decrease because they think the majority agrees with them.

Can either of you show me where that's been confirmed by Marvel, because last I heard Garfield got bumped as Parker because they plan to intro Morales as the Spiderman movie star, and I heard that after Secret Wars wraps up Miles will be the only Spiderman.

Your info is false. Deadpool is confirmed to be rated R. Spiderman will be Peter Parker that was also confirmed recently. He was confirmed for captain America civil war which is set to be released next summer.

a quick google search would help you lol. but no garfield got bumped off because marvel wanted their own spiderman that had no ties to disney at all. they are starting fresh but skipping the origin story miles wont be a part of it.

It's not fsalse in All New X-Men released today Iceman is revealed to be gay.

I know Fox owns the X movie rights which is why I said Disney, who owns Marvel comics now, is using the comic medium to kill the movie medium of properties they don't own the rights to. Disney being the primary money for Marvel now can influence their creative decisions. And before you try to say that's false too, Marvel Comics is owned by Marvel Entertainment which is owned by Walt Disney. Disney has a hand in the creative direction of the comics. Disney has been telling Marvel to kill F4 and Deadpool and Logan, they've been actively trying to get Marvel to diminish the value in comics Disney doesn't own the movie rights to.

that Miles will be entering 616 Universe and not the Ultimate verse he's from. This and other things I read hinted at Secret Wars erasing the existence of Parker and replacing him from day 1 with Morales.

And @ Foxes What does Deadpool's rating have to do with anything? Disney pulled Deadpool from Steam, and new copies from shelves. The only way to buy a disc version of Deadpool now is to buy it used and you can't buy a digital copy anymore.

Don't plan on seeing Miles Morales the fake Spider-Man if it ever happens. Disney seems to be ruining Marvel. Only good Marvel movie the past 3 or so years was GOTG imo
