As some of you may know. Sabo just ate the MMnM and went IN with it. Now how long do you think it'll take Coby to catch up to Luffy?

Some were saying that Coby will eat it in order to get a power boost etc. I was always team Sabo and now that it's official the only way i see Coby becoming Luffy's rival is if Garp makes him a Haki beast and teaches him something REALLY good.

Now some of you may think "this douchebag is just rubbing in the fact that Sabo ate the MMnM and not Coby" and yes...yes i am rubbing it in. But so that this thread wont be flamed by butthurtness and deleted...

Question is: how will Coby catch up and how long will it take?

I don't think Coby was ever intended to be Luffy's rival but rather Smoker was. I reckon Smoker will become the Garp to Luffy and Coby as maybe the Sengoku kind of figure.

Coby will be admiral level at best near EOS but Smoker will be near "yonko" level.

OT: I've always thought Coby would just be a Haki beast in the end. I don't see how he'll really pose much of a threat to EoS Luffy, but I guess we'll see. People also don't really consider that he doesn't have to achieve his goal at the same time Luffy does.

Hahahah...told you Coby sucks...he's even less relevant to the story now. Smoker still remains as Luffy's Garp.

It is clear as day Coby'll be an admiral and I don't think Oda'll drag OP for a longass time(according to OP timeline) so Coby'll be admiral level in 3-4 years(according to OP timeline).Remember that Coby's growth rate is >> that of Luffy.

Who says that Luffy can't have more than one rival I think coby will be one of the last if not the last Hero that the SH's must defeat. This makes sense since the coby was the first person to befriend luffy after Luffy set sail.
