Kishi did not have to bring Obito into this dimension. And if Kishi has nothing planned for Obito here, then these panels are a total waste of time on his part.
Plus, isn't it convenient that Obito is the only person there on Naruto's side who can, as far as we know, travel across dimensions? Obito will make a comeback.
