It's not too clear, just how strong IS Obito?

he's strong, but there are some who are stronger than him

1- Naruto (not necessary be able to hit him, but generally he's stronger than him)
2- Minato (already defeated him on no time, and this obito is just the same he don't use anything other than his Kamui)
3- Kakashi (not necessary stronger, but he could have killed him several time as Obito said)
4- Hiruzen (sense he's the strongest hokage and even stronger than Hashirama, he should be stronger than Obito)
5- Hashi/Madara (the same as Naruto they are stronger than Obito, but they can't defeat him)
6- Kabuto, I think he can beat obito as well.

I'm not sure if there are some more.

1. Couldn't even defeat Obito with the help of 3 other kage leveled ninja.
2. The same? Izanagi, Rinnegan and Gedo Mazo=The same? Not likely.
3. Don't even go there.

He can just hop on the Mazo and watch as its AoE attacks rape Minato. Also I mentioned Izanagi to show that he isn't the same as when they fought. You also say he can't use Rinnegan but manga disagrees.

I told you in term of general power they are strongesr than him, but if they fought him they may not win because they can't hit him, the same with Hashi and Madara they can't win even though they have more power than him. Unless they knew his jutsu, then they can fool him to suck a clone to his dimension and attack him from both sides, since there isn't anything will happen to them there.

1. You were clear, and you were wrong. Since when were ninja ranked in overall prowess, based solely on firepower? Never.
2. How her survived the Kunai has absolutely nothing to do with my point. At all. Gedo Mazo's attacks don't need to be Juubi leveled or above in order to beat Minato, the notion in itself is completely stupid. Never said he had to use it, just said he can use it.

3. If he still thought so he would have repeated it after having repeated it for 2 Databooks, the retcon is obvious.

I personally think hes weak without the tailed beasts, its just my opinion, hes still below (full potential) madara and hashi. But the thing is hes one of the strategically best characters, left (?) kamui is one of the most hax jutsu in the series, since hitting 5 minutes consecutively is not something easy. Tho, since primes or full power should always be counted in top 10, hes way over DSM kabuto w/o edos (jutsu which, used in battle, should be banned in VS colesseum) or nagato, the disputed #4.

On topic. Obito seems to avoid great casualties and prefers victory by other means then raw power. Imho he is still to soft, however he is also strongly determined and if needed he will kill mercilessly.
