Shino is the one that makes sense to die not naruto nor Sasuke . Why? First because if he dies no one will care and it makes more sense because he's Boruto's teacher .

That's why shino a old generation member will die . Bye bye shino

You're telling me he's irrelevant when he finally get more character development than anything we've seen in Part 1 and Part 2 combined. Shino gets one of the biggest role which sets up his growth as a character to oversees the academy and pass on the torch to the next Gen and ensure they will carry on the new leaf.
It would be much better if Shino died based on everything he contributed to the story than killing off character like (Neji) who was irrelavant that nobody gives a ****.
However I don't think Shino is gonna die since he's close with alot of Academy student.
The closest person to Boruto when it comes to older cast would be none other than Naruto,Sasuke and Hinata.

I'm feeling awkward for enjoying watching an original Naruto character in a filler(kinda) after Naruto ended.

Most of the Naruto characters were so well thought-out and most of them were ignored and sidetracked as whole story turned into a crap towards the end.
