Personally, I think what you just said is about 10 times more farfetched than Kabuto succeeding in what Izanami was designed for. It's been at least a day since then. Orochimaru, Sasuke and crew were able to travel all the way to Konoha and back, and Kabuto still hasn't figured Izanami out?

You're vastly underestimating Kabuto. Also, he is a medical ninja. Sasuke needs medical attention. I don't see how you don't know what can be done.

About the nature of discovery, well, there can be many explanations about that. My opinion is that Kishi is just trying to make things more mysterious and confusing.

Sure, Kabuto being there could be illogical and maybe pointless to the plot, but I have not seen anybody offer a more logical appearance. Maybe these other people could be more useful to the plot, but none of it would make sense, and the explanation would be highly unsatisfactory.

I don't see how breaking out of Izanami is an ass pull. Considering Izanami was designed to let the victim break out of it eventually, and accept the- well, things that have been said multiple times.

I am waiting to see who it is, too, but Kabuto is the most logical choice at this time, and is likely the only person capable of actually saving Sasuke. The Mysterious Foot was introduced, quite obviously, as a means to save Sasuke, and everything else is speculation.

And no, saving Sasuke isn't speculation. You are probably a monkey trying to pass as human if you think this person isn't there to save Sasuke.
