It's Neon Genesis Evanghelion worth to watch it?

I want know, it's a good anime series? I heard that is the greatest anime of all time.

It sure is one of the greatest anime of all times, but it's not for kids, so prepare yourself for some really heavy and serious stuff if you're gonna watch it.

If you're a fan of Uchiha and other 'cool quiet type' characters you 99% will not enjoy Evangelion. It's main protagonist is the most infamous dweeby coward in anime, I love him and think he acts realistically while being crazy interesting but Evangelion is known to frustrate and alienate a lot of people. Me included for a large part of the series' run time.

If you do watch it, it is a solid A+ series (though requires patience & careful watching) Just don't expect big fighting robots because it's barely even a mecha series.

I'd just recommend watching the End of Evangelion movie whilst tripping or the Rebuild movies to get a better story personally.

Yes its is, although you should skip the last 2 eps and watch End of Evangleion instead(since the movie basically rectons the garbage ending). After that watch the Rebuilds.

I wouldn't say skip the last two episodes, but instead watch EoE first and then come back to the last two episodes. They give insight into what the characters were going through.

I would definitely recommend it (it's my favorite), but it's not your typical shounen anime, so if you're expecting that I would reconsider.

Yeah fair enough. Most of the final half had alot of ****ery going on and i think it was studio problems and Anno's depression(?). Either way there was alot of controversy surrounding the endings and the series in general.

Anyway cant wait for 4.0.

TV series is not worth watching, but End of Evangelion is definitely worth watching. One of the greatest anime endings. The Evangelion films may also be something to watch.
