If Madara takes out Hiruzen and Minato, he wins. Those two and Kakashi are the only ones remaining that are powerful enough and have enough chakra to make a difference, and Kakashi's bound to be running out.

Hiruzen and Minato will stick around a little longer if for no other reason than the fact that if they're sealed/stopped, the war is over. Hiruzen is the only one keeping the SA alive, and Minato is probably needed to keep Naruto alive.
