Never saw the anime delivery, but I can safely say Naruto Storm 3 butchered the **** out of this scene.

Super drawn out (like 20 freaking minutes, and 90% of it was gasping and coughing). Not really moved to see the anime right now if it's' anything like that.

Well, I don't find to it to be very emotional anymore. I cried a little when I first read it in the manga and saw it in the anime. Some parts of it weren't that good though. Like the length of the speech and the way the wound looked in the anime from Kurama stabbing them with one of his claws. Now, anytime I see it again I don't feel a thing to be honest with you.

No, it doesn't tie. The response to Itachi's second last words to his brother was through the roof in this fandom.
