Really, even the 4 gods of Ishval are not that strong compared to dragons and people from other continents, Warrod said it, the members of Fairy Tail are having a lot of difficult dealing with those demons, they really need to get stronger, and please not by another weird powerup like Second Origin, maybe the 1° generation learn to use DF whenever they want or timeskip by sometime for them to train, make they feel impused to get stronger, make something like in OP, International GMG? That's an idea to make them train, but really, they need to get stronger.

Ordinary humans can't beat Dragons, it doesn't matter are you god of ishgal or not, only these with Dragon Slayer magic can kill dragons.
But i agree that they need to train, Natsu is nowhere near top tier.

Actually, its just that dragon slayer magic penetrates better in the dragon's skin, so if a mage is so powerful like Acnologia, he could defeat a ordinary dragon I think, but thanks for commenting

I think Dragon Slayer Magic isnt the only magic that works in dragons.Dragon Slayer magic is just more effective against them.

Yes there will be a sort of like a timeskip for training to fight against Zeref and his army........May be there will be a timeskip before War arc in FT

God Slayer Magic seems pretty OP as well. Just look at the Dragonslayer fights against God Slayers. SO mabe God Slayers can take on Dragons too.
OT: I do agree they do need to train more. That battle with the Dragons from the past should have been enough to warrent their training. Not one of them actually beat a dragon. Natsu befriended his XD

Acnologia himself was Dragon Slayer.
Gildarts said that humans can't defeat/kill dragons, but he stated that Natsu (as Dragon slayer) will be able to do so one day. Also Gildarts fought against dragon and was defeated in second.
Only non-dragon slayer human who can beat dragon is probably Zeref, but he is not ordinary human.

They are fighting END one's and Tartaros a book of Demons Named "Aetherius" only,there may be more than one book of Demons under Zeref's control.I too think Acnologia will be the final villain with a Dragon Army and some random Demons from some Randon Book
Yeah,so far in the manga,Gildarts is the strongest Mage,Recently I got one weird Idea,what if Gildarts was killed Offpaneled by zeref in his quest?Isn't that a good chance for Natsu's character developement

Well, Gildarts words were "Humans can't defeat Dragons" or something like that, he didn't say humans can't defeat Acnologia.
It doesn't actually matter does he fought Acnologia or some other Dragon, Acnologia completely fodderized him (Gildarts is upper half of top tier). Other Dragons will probably beat Gildarts also, but not with such easy as Acnologia.
Also you can see during GMG arc, when dragons came out. Only Dragon slayer fought against Dragons. Noone out of other mages didn't take Dragon, if ordinary humans can fight against Dragon, than i'm pretty sure that Makarov, Jellal and some character of their caliber would do so. Just for the fact that Jellal (former member of 10 saints) who got a lot stronger since his days at that group didn't take dragon and asked Lahar/Doranbolt to release Cobra (Dragon Slayer) from prison in order for him to fight, tell me that ordinary humans can't beat dragons.

Well we can't be sure tho,Aetherius book is created ages ago by Zeref and we know Zeref is alive for around 400 years after "History war arc"......He may have created a bunch a books.

a time skip sounds like a good idea for natsu and the other's dragon slayers to train and at least cause some serious damage on the dragons but we're going to get a lot of fillers in the anime tho :nuts:

A timeskip would be good to improve their abilities, but it'd be great if they also grew a little.
