No he wasn't. Madara was just a very good manipulator. That plot line shows how even the most kind kids like obito who was just like naruto can become monsters. Madara manipulated his love for rin and his friends.

I think that it could be shisui. I believe that the hooded man is someone who has actually NEVER came in contact with sasuke. He had the onion boy go check out his skills. And once again, itachi is a reason that the hooded man is upset. He believes that sasuke is a disgrace to the uchiha name . OR what if orochimaru could have played apart in his resurrection. And I believe that the sharingan eyeballs are still floating around somewhere, so he could have easily gotten some new eyes. Lol
