Of all people, shikamaru doesnt deserve to die, neither did neji. Both of these characters have/had so much room for development, & that's why people are complaining. Kiba is irrelevant & so is sakura, or even tenten. At least shikamaru would be a key figure in establishing a united shinobi world..

Yes and than people would complain about Kishi giving them development instead of focusing on battles . People complain about Kishi not giving them development , but when he does they still complain about something .

I'm not complaining about their development, I'm talking about their potential for development after the war.

Neji got terrible development in part 2, but part 1 was great for him. He still had great potential as a character. Shikamaru on the other hand has had great development, I would say that he's one of the most well written characters by kishi.

nejis death was a pitiful and terrible. he could have done so much more with him, yet he dies for hinata's sake (who has tried committing suicide a few times now blindly, but i swear im not saying she should have died...just stop making her pathetic!!!)

i dont think death "needs" to happen, thats just kinda stupid but if hes going to kill off his kids and not the older generation, dont kill off the best ones lol

The genin that Naruto grew up with should not have died. Just crazy.. They didn't even get to live a life like their parents. Have kids and all that good stuff. The problem is that they killed off people that had pretty special moments in the anime. -_-

you know why? hes supposed to kill characters for a reason. for example; the 5 kages. at least tsunade (and imo ohnoki) shouldve died!!

neji & shikamaru are just dying randomly, while the gokage fought a legend, got injured badly and all magically got better in a few hours

kishi is trying to show it like a real war in which people die no matter how much others don't want them to.maybe people would understand pain like this.

and neji's death was so unpredictable.i didn't like neji much before his death.but now i think differently.
it would be sad if more characters die after this especially from konoha 11.
