And I'm sure mito taught him a bunch of sealing jutsu like kushina taught minato

Yep, I agree. I always wondered who the heck is going to put Madara out of commission if the 1st Hokage is sealed away... And the minute I saw Orochimaru summon the seal, I knew it was going to be Madara vs the 1st again.

I think most of us have guessed for a while now that Hashi was coming back to fight Madara, but still it was a nice turn of events and I'm excited to see the previous Hokage get to play their roles in this war

Idk if hashi's going to take him down. Orochimaru said he doesn't have any interest in the war, which makes me think he's not going to let his edos participate. There's still a chance that Tobirama breaks the jutsu, since he was the one who invented it.

Only reason Hiruzen doesn't have a chance is because Hashirama's techniques are perfect counters for Madara's jutsu, his wood suppresses chakra which in his case is a big advantage against Madara.

Dont take his words so literally. If we took everybody's words literally all the time then a LOT of things in the manga would be different. He could be talking about his prime (which is highly unlikely, seeing as hashi doesnt even know of the rinnegan's abilities) or he could be talking about his EMS self and if thats the case (which it probably is) then we seriously underestimate EMS madara.
