Its been confirmed Kakashi will go blind

Kakashi knew the existence of mangekyou before that he fought Itachi in part 1, and he heard Kisame when he said that the jutsu is dangerous for his eyes too, that's how Kakashi know about it.Or he simply read the tablet.
All side effect he has affect his chakra and his body for a moment, his eyes never showed trouble of vision.

Only Kishi decide about this issue,it's a transplanted sharingan,so all is possible.
