Its been confirmed Kakashi will go blind

Let's say if he would go blind it would be in one eye so even if one would be blind he could still use kamui with the other eye seeing and the blind eye aiming maybe xd and he can also choose to replace it ?

I wonder what would happen if he switched his eyes.. xd

he's sharingan may loose its light ... but he will still be able to see and will still be a kick ass ninja though certainly not as powerful (he was already jounin without the sharingan) but IMO kishi would not let this happen -- for a long time to come at least -- all the Hatake Kakashi fans would riot

Hes not going blind son. Period. Hes older than Itachi and Sasuke and thus had his Sharingan longer...and in the fact that its constantly activated and his constant kamui use. Hell,Sasuke had his after Kakashi but yet he showed signs of blindness during their fight.

I think secretly this is a kakashi hate thread...he already has low chakras...why would kishi give him another major weakness....one he cant recover from?

His blindness is probably like Itachi's when he fought Sasuke, but this is just s theory. Let's wait and see what Kishi says about it.

Yeah, it was pretty evident that Kakashi would go blind once he activated the MS to use Kamui for the first time. So im curious if it would only affect his Sharingan eye and not his normal eye since he doesnt have two of them. I mean it would make sense to go blind on only the Sharingan side since hes not an Uchiha with both. But since the side effects of using the MS affect the whole body (i.e. Sasuke's body when he used the MS Tech Susanoo) maybe it could be. If he goes blind in his left eye it wouldnt be any noticeable difference since he always has it covered up anyways.

How? Itachi spend 8years or even more with MS without going blind. How could Kakashi go blind only in one year or maybe less than that without even using MS that often?

I don't know how it would have ever been questioned, Kakashi mentions to Itachi during their encounter on the 'Retrieval of Gaara arch'

"How far has your eye sight deteriorated?"

How else would he know that other then his own eye sight having been compromised by the activation of his own MS.

Technically isn't he already half blind now? I mean, he keeps the Sharingan covered ALL THE TIME except when he uses it. Basically he's running on one eye now unless he absolutely really must use the other.

I say that losing the Sharingan isn't going to be that big a deal in the long run unless he needs an advantage against a superior enemy. Or he'll just have to change strategy, he's smart enough to do so.

i think kakashi will go blind (but only in his sharingan-eye).
but i do say as well, if that happens, than he will get another one from recovered remains of danzou, tobi (or some random uchiha, or wherever from ;-))

Anyway the databook chapter has confirmed the rule kishi has stated in the manga in relation to the ms. I know people keep saying because kakashi isnt an uchiha he wouldnt suffer the same faith or because his sharingan is implanted its like an ems, yet the manga has said an ms user once the ms is activated your eyes slowly descent into darkness and the more you use it the more you increase the process;

I can quote here "The Mangekyou sharingan is a doujutsu with continuous usage burdens the user with the loss of their eyesight. Since this is the source of Kamui using it in rapid succession put kakashi's body at risk aswell".

Kakashi wont go blind man. You told me that you dont think the series will continue after the war (i think lol). If this is true, do you honestly believe he will go blind in the middle of the war and the ONLY MS TECHNIQUE he uses "sparingly" is the Kumai??? Nope.


Also, if he actually was to possibly use up SO MUCH KUMUI in the war that it made him START to go blind... Kishi would give him another eye. You are so funny. Everytime I'm about to write a Thread you somehow lightly touch on a subject that I'm going to write about. Weird. Kakashi is about to be my #3 in my "Ultimate Weapon" installments lol. Peace

What loses sight is the Uchiha eye Kakashi has 2 eyes one an Uchiha eye, the other His normal eye that would still have sight if His Sharigan goes out.
