lets face facts. itachi is a genius with various talents and secrets (kabuto stated). speed and intelligence + ninjutsu skills and weapons with feints is already hard to beat. genjutsus one shotted orochimaru, deidara and in madaras case a (itachi is at least as good as madara in genjutsu). so already with tomoe sharingan there a not many who can beat itachi, if he already can beat orochimaru and other akatsuki easily.
mangekyou sharingan kills it. tsukuyomi, this is only one eye contact with finishes the battle and cant be countere if you looked into the eyes, not even if you a jinchuriki. imagine, during a heavy fight you by mistake will look a second in itachis eyes, in this case you are dead or leaved in hosiptal.
amaterasu, if itachi only look at his target it will burn the target to ashes, there is no possibility to avoid th sight of the sharingan if you are not as fast as naruto or A.
susanoo the ultimately warrior which protects you from anything and crushes anything, even kirin was repeled w/o yata mirror. and yata mirror and totsukas blade are the absolute weapons.
remember what zetsu said: totsuka bllade and yatas mirror make him invincible. he said: itachi has these weapons on top of the mangekyou sharingan? hes one though guy.
