When Hashirama offered Madara the possibility to join their forces, it seems Madara hesitated and would have probably accepted if not his brother:

Because of this Madara's dream of creating peace never happened and led to the 4th shinobi war we see now U_U

Izuna and Toribama just shared the same ideals as their fathers and they are all dicks.

Yes that's true, although many would have done the same as Izuna. Not his fault completely. U_^

We can't say its totally Izuna's fault since Madara already lost three brothers before him so it was obvious there was bad blood between them.

Moreover Madara always had a choice he was given two chance by Hashirama after Izuna's death which could have led to peace as well if he really wanted that.

Sometimes I get a Romeo and Juliet vibe regarding Hashirama and Madara's forbidden friendship... and I wouldn't blame Izuna for his own beliefs, but Izuna was used by Kishimoto as a plot device to justify Madara's actions.

Hashirama kept his sibling under control, Madara however did not.

In this case you can say that uh Hashirama was more of a man then Madara.

I agree with you. When I read the chapter and seen where Izuna discouraged Madara from accepting the offer I wanted someone to slap him
