Get ready for it folks. I mean, we know if anyone is going to breathe life into this dying manga, it's going to be Sasuke. But let's not forget who the author of said dying manga is. Right now, Naruto is without his precious Biju, and since he was the star of the Kaguya fight, that also means he's probably more drained than Sasuke is.

Sasuke has every Biju on a leash, and it's likely that he can bend them to his will. But, Cross, why he didn't keep the Biju on the ground to help crush Naruto? Well, that's because: A) Sasuke isn't evil, and B) Sasuke's too prideful to use the Biju's to do something he feels he can do on his own. If anything, they'd probably be a last resort.

Despite Naruto's obvious disadvantage, he's going to have to win. Because, well, he's Naruto and that's what always happens. It just baffles me because not only does Sasuke have 9 separated entities of God, he also has destructive power and untapped ability that he'll gain as he fights. I'm leaving out plenty of things, but you guys get the point.

It's a shame, I wonder how Kishi's going to dig himself out of this one?

Note here these aren't faults of Sasuke but the writing aspect. We all knew he'd turn, so it's not even a plot twist. He wants to kill the previous Kage which has a relation to his belief that the current Kage system is flawed but still not a very rational conclusion for someone trying to make things better. Hagoromo clearly set him up to get his ass kicked by Naruto as Naruto is obviously the one he really left things up to and has faith in. Again, Hagoromo flat out said Sasuke didn't work out either, practically declaring him in the wrong. Sasuke still wants to fight with Naruto after knowing of Indra and Ashura and their turnout, and he is taking the cliche route of "revolution via force" that EVERY villain has taken thus far.

I'm not feeling a refreshing theme from all this. It's the same writing style that Kishi has been giving us this whole time. I get that there are Sasuke fans glad that he's getting to play the role of antagonist again (he makes for a decent bad guy), but story-wise this is lack luster at best. Kishi basically told us Sasuke will lose and is in the wrong before they even began fighting.

In my opinion, Sasuke did not open my eyes.
He closed them.

Obito impressed me, Madara impressed me, Itachi impressed me, almost every Uchiha impressed me. All but Sasuke. I don't have anything against him, but he never opened my eyes on many things. Yes, as he did get a lot stronger, I'm still not too astonished by it.

I assumed that everything was done and no more huge fights would really happen now. If any other previous villain came back, such as Kaguya, Madara, ect, what purpose would they have now? Until Sasuke's intentions of killing the 5 Kage came back.

I don't like to complain like this, but was this truly necessary?
