That's false, even on 6POP, Nagato could use their different abilities with perfect synchronization.
Nagato himself is a chakra powerhouse..... Unlike characters that have low chakra reserves, Nagato himself has a bunch and being an edo is not an excuse for his technique spamming, because he actually can do it, being edo or not.

Naruto is way too dumb to fight against Itachi, Naruto got ****ed by Itachi twice and Itachi wasn't even trying, how is Naruto going to win when Itachi has the intention to kill, he fodderized the strongest of the 3 sannins at the age of 13.

xd Have you been reading the Manga? Naruto's got the biggest reserves among all main characters, if you think he'll run out of chakra before Itachi, you obviously are in denial
a. that was edo itachi- unlimited chakra, feels no pain, no risk of going blind, no blurry vision
b. nagato manipulated by kabuto completely ignored itachi and focused on the jinchuuriki
c. naruto has split his chakra into at least 15 clones already
d. naruto's gotten WAY stronger now.
Itachi may be on another level of intelligence, however... Intelligence is something that isn't going to win this battle considering that there is such a massive gap in power.
Naruto is well aware of Itachi's genjutsu's and knows all about his other attack's... You also forgot to take in to account that if that was normal Itachi in this recently anime he would have been holding his eye's half way through that fight, due to him starting of with amaterasu.

That picture clearly demonstrated that he has knowledge about both Amaterasu & tsukuyomi! Which tbh, is a massive advantage for Naruto, considering that Itachi has basically had the advantage of people not knowing his techniques in most of his fights.
Naruto isn't stupid enough to look directly in to his eye's, and tbh... Naruto's clones would destroy Itachi's chakra and cause him massive damage, not only because he would be out numbered but he would be out matched in Physical strength & speed.
You can see in this picture that bee was caught in genjutsu when he tried to attack Itachi, which turned out to be a pack of grows. Those grow where very close to him and turned in to Shuriken...

Despite them being incredibly close, he was able to get out of the genjutsu and deflect them with his Swords. This pretty much indicated that he can get out of genjutsu almost instantaneously.

I understand that in normal circumstances that intelligence would play a massive part in a battle, however.. When you are up against an opponent who is so far ahead and at god like strength, such as naruto... You can't expect him to pull of cheap tricks...
Specially when naruto biggest assets is itachi's biggest down fall... "Chakra"

If you serious believe that itachi could bet Naruto with tools, then i believe you are serious underestimating Naruto's abilities. You have no reasonable counter, apart from saying he can merely cast him in a genjutsu...
He would need tsukuyomi to take him down... which would be harder than you think, sure it's not impossible, although i believe that statement to be a very one sided debate, considering he already has knowledge on Itachi's tsukuyomi.
It's more logical that naruto would use his shadow clones from the get go to control the fight...
Here comes the speedexcuse again, Itachi is well aware of Naruto's speed, and Itachi has shown us in alot of feats that he's very fast. Itachi is a master in Genjutsu and even though Naruto and that fox thingy are friends he can still be casted in a Genjutsu even for a short moment, as was demonstrated by Itachi against Bee, if Itachi can cast a small Genjutsu on Naruto and cast Tsukuyomi on him afterwards he's done.
Itachi > Naruto simply because Itachi outbrains Naruto because Naruto is way too stupid to fight against the most intelligent character in Naruto.
I respect your opinion, but if you say i'm using the speed excuse I can easily turn around and say you're using the "intelligence excuse". Itachi can be "well aware" of Naruto's speed all he wants, fact of the matter is he's not keeping up with BM naruto and the various attacks he can pull off. Props to Itachi for keeping up with KM, but he's not countering BM, not to mention the various kage level clones he also has to deal with. As stated, Naruto's also got some experience with Sharingan users, not to mention that he generally uses clones from the get-go. You might be right about the Tsukyomi thing though - we'll never really know whether a perfect jin can break it or not.
Heck, I like Itachi as a character, but I know his limits. Naruto isn't the most intelligent, but at the same time he's not a complete idiot. As I said before though, Itachi is a genius, but for his analysing skills to work he's got to be able to think up a strategy in a split second as well as evade Naruto's bombardment of attacks, something that I can't imagine happening
