Susanoo is not the shield. they are separate objects within its form. The shield is unbreakable and totally covers against all attacks, it is unbeatable. However itachi running out of stamina from holding up susanoo is a weakness, but of susanoo itself not the shield.

It does it's job flawlessly, which is where you are wrong, for you stated that it, the shield had a weakness like any other technique. This is what is what I am addressing, and where you made a flaw. The defense that itachi uses overall has a weakness, but the shield itself as a single item does not.
