± Appearance and Personality ±
It seems his parents had very dominant genes involving white and black hair traits as seen in his brothers Tobirama who had white hair and Hashirama who had black hair. But Itama had a peculiar trait, he had both black and white hair separated at the center. He also had caramel colored eyes, which was also a genetic peculiarity compared to his brothers who had dark brown and even red pupils. He was shorter than his brothers and at around 8 years old he stood about 43 inches.
Itama was a very affectionate boy from a young age, he would openly mourn his fellow clansmen- a feat not acknowledged by shinobi around that time. He was somewhat of a philosophic one similar to his older brother Hashirama. He was also a very proud Senju, though he didn't agree with their relentless slaughtering and ethics he would still protect his brothers and the clan name. He was also very humble and would only speak when his emotions got the best of him, much like Hashirama.
Upon hearing the news of Kawarama's death, a tearful Itama assembled alongside his father, and his siblings Tobirama and Hashirama as the fallen were buried. After his father scolded him for crying, as shinobi were not to show emotions, Itama looked on in shock at the altercation between his father and his eldest brother. Later, while speaking to his brothers about seeking peace for the world, Itama voiced the concern of what would happen to the retribution that should be sought for the death of their relatives.
