Itachi's Tsukuyomi

Can Itachi cast Tsukuyomi on someone who has a powerful MS/EMS for example Obito/Madara or must he weaken them first?

We have seen is some occasions that Genjutsu can be broken when your "real" body suffers a massive pain which wakes you up from a Normal Genjutsu, does that also apply to Itachi's Tsukuyomi?

This seems to suggest all someone needs is the Sharingan and Kekkei Genkai which means you must be an Uchiha to break it. :|

I think he can. In one of the movies, he was against Obito. The situation heavily implied that if Itachi can't use physical attacks, he still has his eyes, in other words Genjutsu. It's not canon of course, but it was made by Kishimoto so we can actually imagine it as a hypothetical.

He did let him win abd could've killed him via totsuka at any time but what indicates that he let him out of tsukuyomi?

Should Itachi win an oscar for that alone?

Sasuke with his rinnegan protected Team 7 from Infinite Tsukiyomi.
Thus anybody with powerfull Sharingan or maybe rinnegan can easily break through Tsukiyomi.

Of course it is possible. Itachi let Sasuke win, it was his unique ability and for a whole series there was no escaping it if you remember. like Obito had his time-space ninjutsu. If we take Obito for example he attacked him even from the grave not to mention what happened to Nagato.

I second this response. But although being an Uchiha w/Sharingan grants you the necessary tools to break Tsukuyomi, you still have to have a powerful Sharingan and its skillful usage to break it (suggested by Zetsu's surprise when Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi).

I feel like you'd still have to be extremely skilled in genjutsu to break it.

Talking about Uchihas, then only them have the tools to take it and could break it. Itachi said it was a possibility to break it with an Uchiha with sharingan, so if they are godd then they might have a chance.

And i think there could be a fuinjutsu to antigenjutsu genjutsus haha. That is also a way to do it, and sennin mode is another

i'm positive itachi let sasuke breakout of tsukiyomi, if i can remember correctly obito said sasuke could'nt even see through itachis genjutsu,i think you have to have strong eyes, EMS,MS to breakout
