Itachi's true intelligence.

OK, I've seen many threads that focus on intelligence. We have characters such as Shikamaru who are classed as geniuses. We have Neji, Minato, Kakashi, The first 3 Kages, and other various ninjas from elsewhere with a lot of intellect. I just want to point out that I think Itachi is the most intelligent, and I'm going to back this up with evidence.

For starters, if you research Narutopedia you'll notice that Itachi has been described as intelligent, analytical, calm and strategical.

As you can see Itachi manages to break out of the Edo Tensei, due to his intellect.

Here we see the all powerful Kabuto getting his ass kicked, and acknowledging that Itachi is indeed in a different league.



Here we see Itachi explaining how he was going to stop Sasuke, he knew for a fact that Sasuke would go blind, and he would need Itachi's Mangekyo in order to awaken the EMS.

The beauty of it is that I had a feeling Itachi knew what Sasuke would do and he almost had his life planned out, which is amazing. Overall I think he is the most intellectual character in the series because even though Shikamaru can plan ahead, he can't on the scale of Itachi.

Itachi is truly a genius, BUT:

- He broke out of Edo Tensei due to fluke. He didn't mean or plan to use KA on himself, it was meant for Sasuke.
- Itachi planned ahead? So he foreshadowed Sasuke's eventual hatred for Konoha? No, he did not expect Sasuke to turn out this way, he's even admitted it was a mistake and he made some bad choices.

As I said, he was a genius, but some of what you have presented doesn't actually show this.

He broke out of edo tensei due to luck. He gave the crow to Naruto to use on Sasuke and got lucky to meet Naruto in the war, which lead to him breaking out.

You're wrong, even though he used Kotoamatsukami to break out of it, which was the main reason how he got out, if that was someone else like Sasuke, they wouldn't have been able, or even thought about layering a genjutsu over Edo Tensei. Fail corrected. Me: 1 You: 0

Thats what most shinobi have on him anyways, experience. For a shinobi with relatively low experience, he has smarts that rank up there with the best. He probably is the best considering that he is a doesn't have much experience and yet none of his plans have ever failed him.

Kabuto he started from nothing (and against all odds) to become something.
Alone, he played Konoha like a puppet .
Alone, he was able to blackmail a Rinnegan user.

Smh, dude your stuck on dumb and seem to be an Itachi fanboy. KA wasn't ment for Edo, nor did he use it with that intent. That situation was pure fluke, nothing or nothing less.

What i'm saying is, he did not plan to use KA on himself in order to break out of Edo Tensei. OP is saying that he planned it which proves he was a genius; i'm saying, this does not prove he is a genius (which he is) because this was down to mere chance.

In case assume went bad?? At this point he already was bad, anyone could see that. He had KA and knew of its ability so he implanted in the person who chase after sasuke the most. This didn't require much intellect.
