The first Susano'o to be seen in the manga, Itachi's Susano'o was particularly impressive when it was revealed. The ultimate jutsu of the Mangekyo Sharingan, an enormous spiritual guardian made of pure chakra, armed with legendary weapons and ostensibly invincible. Although later Susano'os would later prove to be on a wider scale and more 'impressive' than Itachi's Susano'o, how does the Uchiha prodigy's normal Susano'o match up to the Susano'os seen being used by Sasuke and Madara?

Note; this is comparing Itachi's Susano'o to EMS Sasuke's Susano'o, rather than his Rinnegan Susano'o. Furthermore, this is a comparison of armored Susano'o, not Perfect Susano'o.

Strength

Although Madara and Sasuke's Susano'os undoubtedly have more strength than Itachi's, his Susano'o isn't weak at all. With simple sword slashes, he was capable of

It's a common misconception that Itachi's Susano'o is only really strong because of the legendary weapons it wields. This isn't true. As seen especially when the Susano'o

without even using the Yata Mirror, or having any apparent adverse effects. On the other hand, Madara's (incomplete) Susano'o was

. This may be a testament to Tsunade's strength, but the fact that Itachi's Susano'o could tank an enormous strike of lightning like Kirin is impressive in its own right. Even without the Yata Mirror, even in semi-skeletal form, Itachi's Susano'o has incredible durability.

Legendary Weapons

And, of course, Itachi's trump cards... the Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror. With one stab from the blade, he was capable of sealing away

. It's these weapons that would give Itachi an edge against both Sasuke and Madara's respective Susano'os. Neither of them have these extraordinarily powerful weapons, weapons which nearly any foe would have to look out for.

I'm not arguing that Itachi would beat Madara or Sasuke, just comparing how strong their Susano'os are.

As far as the Manga goes Itachi's Susanoo is a Hyperbole. As such, it's not logical to compare Itachi's Susanoo as it would according to the Manga one shot both Sasuke and Madara's Susanoos.

Also, Itachi didn't use Yata Mirror when he was hit by Kirin. Otherwise it would have been deflected back to Sasuke.

I'd say Itachi's Susanoo is perfect in his own way. He didn't steal anyone's power nor he did get EMS.

His Susanoo is op, and I'd rather choose this one, than Madara's or Sasuke's.

If he had higher stamina and chakra levels though, I'd say it'd be the strongest Susano'o followed by Sasuke's even without a PS form.

Itachi's Susanoo probably,probably can stand a chance against Sasuke's incomplete susanoo. And that's just probably.

His Susanoo is still overrated. He can't maintain it for more than 2min. He can't defend himself against earth and sand jutsu. His susanoo can't fly, therefore can't touch Sasuke or Madara. He's the weakest Susanoo user.

some flaws though. his soosano didnt tank kirin, it got destroyed as shown

. what your scan shows is itachi reforming it. and you use ribcage(weakest soosano version) of madaras to prove a point? ribacage was what got cracked by tsunade while the soosano that took kirin was most likely a v2 or v3 due to the mere fact that ribcage has gotten damaged by attacks from raikage wereas kirin is another level above that as it obliterated the uchiha hideout so it had to be a higher version of soosano to have taken kirin.
