Simply because of Itachi's overpowered spirit weapons...

Granted, Itachi's Sword has to pierce Madara's Susanoo...but the Yata Mirror (according to apparently everyone I've seen talk on the subject) should be able to deflect all attacks...


Btw, Would Madara have the ability to redirect Amaterasu? Because otherwise Itachi just spews out black fire everywhere?
