Most funs knew he had a bad sight but this is how itachi fought most of his known battles

Your point it irrelevant. Itachi still bashed Sasuke around even when he was practically blind, and could have won if he didn't plan his own death.

OT: Itachi... Damn... The Solo King could have still whooped Sasuke's ass even with little to no vision. U_U

It's sad that he had to lower himself so far to match Sasuke's fodder abilities even when he was borderline blind.
