Why would Bee waste time trying to attack Naraka Path's summon? You would rather attack the summoner instead. Which in fact is what Itachi exactly did, the same thing as Bee by directly going for Nagato. [

Well the spiritual items are chakra, and the Sharingan can see chakra.
