~Itachi's humour~
This thread is to show that one of the most stoic characters in the series (Weasel Uchiha) has a sense of humour. That's right. He can be funny. At least a little. Shocking, I know. But let's check it out.

Examples from when he was back in Konoha
Example One:
Here, he knows that Sasuke can see the clan symbol. Lol
The logo is huge and they talked about it as they were passing right by it. There's no way anyone could miss it. But, as most older brothers do, he felt the need to tease the little brother he adores. You even see him smirking/smiling at Sasuke's reply.
It's a cute scenario.
Example Two:
Sasuke just twisted his ankle here after attempting a new trick to show off in front of his older bro:
And Itachi notices him smiling. He knows Sasuke's smiling because he's getting a piggy back ride from his older brother and they're spending time together. But, he teases him a little more (once again, like the majority of elder bros like to) and upon seeing Sasuke's reaction smiles/smirks again.
Pretty typical brother relationship there. With the typical humour entailed.
Example from Shippuden when he was in Akatsuki
Example 3:
Right here is the moment both brothers have been waiting for the past 8 years for and 3 years since their last encounter.
Itachi is the murderer of the Uchiha clan. Sasuke hates him. Itachi's plan is going well at the moment and he knows this. He knows what's about to ensue. How does he start off things and break off the tension from the intense staring contest they're having?
“Did you get a little taller?”
Right. Because that's what the typical person would say against they're sworn enemy. Especially when they can see them plainly in front of them and know darn well that they did increase height-wise.
Even when playing the villain role, he still has a sense of humor and can tease his younger brother. Full well knowing that he'll die that day to benefit him and make him a hero to everyone.
And also: "So are you going to scream out and charge straight at me like last time?"
He knows Sasuke won't. He just has to tease him a little more.
Even when in Akatsuki and living a facade- that elder brother trollish humour was still there. After all those years of them being separated.
It's hilarious to me even if the remarks aren't much. Mainly because of what they symbolize as well as the randomness of them at times. This guy can be a troll when he wants to be. Maybe some of you on NB can relate to this sense of humour? I know I certainly can.

Example 4:
These are 3 powerful shinobi. CT's gravitational pull is taking them into the air. It looks bleak.
Then, things look worse when the only person to have seen Nagato in action/have fought him, Naruto, is freaking out. Saying that they're done for and going on about how there's no hope for them.
Itachi's response is just funny here because he just absolutely does not care. He asks him plainly how he survived.
Naruto's response “WHAAT?” kind of adds to this. As does his facial expressions to Itachi's question and the calm manner he used to inquire this. And Bee's rap too, of course.
Example 5:
Dr. Snakes? 'Nuff said. No comment.
Okay, maybe a few comments. U_U
He's back to being the elder bro again. That trolling. Only an older sibling could say this to their younger one. Without shame as they stand before a powerful enemy ready to face him.
There are more examples of his laconic sense of humour, but I think I'll just stop there. You get the idea.
Tl;dr- Itachi can be funny even if he's introverted, quiet, and serious most of the time. And, he's a trolling badass. It's just a laconic, sarcastic, dry sense of humor and not the light-hearted kind Naruto/Jiraiya/Minato exuded, or the sadistic kind Orochimaru had, or the arrogant self-entitled kind Madara showed.
