Give him the Rinnegan, and he'd be better than Madara/Pain/Obito in a week.

Yes. itachi has been using a sword since anbu days yet i wouldn't put him above anyone that uses a sword on the regular bar suigetsu.
Hashirama dna only works based on quantity.
Hed never be better at rinne than an original user.
