Itachi's potential?

So sadly Itachi died in his early 20s, but this by his own hand and his own will. If he wanted he could have taken Sasukes eyes neg-diff. And then had EMS.

How powerfull do you think EMS Itachi would have been? In his 20s 30s 40s 50s etc?

I think Itachi made a big mistake trusting his will onto Sasuke, i'd rather have EMS Itachi on the current battlefield then "Mr one-pannel-stabbed-by -his-own-sword-Sasuke"

Think about it, Itachi is responsible for Naruto & Bee being alive, they where being soloed by Nagato before Itachi saved them, and plus, he saved the Gokage, they where about to be soloed by Madara's PS sword. In fact, he saved thousands and thousands of lifes in this war by stopping Kabuto.
He's such a strategic genius, he plans year ahead and is never outsmarted. Probably one of the most all around ninja's in NV.

So how powerfull do you think Itachi would have become if he decided to live?

Sasuke didn't have MS, so Itachi wouldn't had gotten EMS.

Sasuke has surpassed Itachi by manga standards.

There are circumstances to that fight...
1. Naruto and Bee are also responsible for Itachi surviving.
2. Naruto had 1/12th of Kurama's power, and was hit with a major stupid stick (probably to make the mary sue look better. For ****'s sake, Naruto just fought Nagato a little while ago and somehow forgot all of his abilities, even forgot that he escaped Chibaku Tensei before)

Itachi didn't save the Gokage, he just prolonged their massacre.
All but 3 of the Edo Tensei were already sealed, all Itachi saved the alliance from was Kimimaro, a weakened Muu, and Chiyo without her puppets.
Itachi had significant help from Sasuke in stopping Kabuto, and he survived because he was an immortal regenerating zombie.
His plans only partially work because of other people and dumb luck.

Weaker than Sasuke.

Nah, i think Itachi takes both Hashirama and Obito 1v1. His Genjutsu is on another level and with YATA, PS & SOT he would destroy Hashi & Obito.

Itachi admitted he needed EMS for a shot at Obito, and even then he didn't know how powerful Obito really was. EMS Madara was leagues above Itachi, and so is Hashirama.

My god, I'm sick of all this Itachi wank.

if itachi was a ambitioned blood thirsting shinobi who wanted to get stronger then everyone else he would have achieved it easier than anyone else if it wasnt for his illness (and the situation around him. think about it, he never tried to be the best, he just was. now imagine if he really tried to be better) theres a reason kishi had to make him sick...

Also, did you say he made no effort into being as good as he is? That's why he was out in the woods for hours practicing throwing kunais and such? He was also trained by Obito, and may had received training by Shisui whom was the best in the Uchiha clan.

how was it susanoo? he had the same illness as kimmimaru and sais brother. also yes he was doing basic training like every other shinobi. but he didnt any advanced trainings in order to improve(such as sasuke with his lightning, naruto with futon, etc.)

Still can't stop his sickness. Itachi was a beast though, would have kept growing if he wasn't sick. Easily Kage level.
