Personally I like his latest death embrace. His forehead pokes seemed to symbolize that he kept far away from Sasuke, not truly at his side. With this latest disappearance, he went "head to head" with Sasuke, being as close to him as possible. I may be thinking too far into it though.

Judging by the positive comments about #2, I feel that it would be more favored. But let's see anyways.
