Quite a significant amount of people have no clue how Izanami works.

Because of the different translations.

Everything in bold is false according to the manga i read.

Izanami works by using your opponents senses as itachi said

. Every living/Dead ninja has 5 senses which already rules out some of what you've said.

Izanami doesn't have prep time, it begins when the user chooses to begin it by saying "Izanami". All the user of izanami then has to do is replicate the same Bodily sensation as itachi said here:

He couldn't have been referring to Kabuto because in the Images, Kabuto was in different positions blocking the same technique from itachi.

You claim that the technique only works on "Internally lost" characters. where did you get this falsity?

The jutsu was created to control the Uchiha abusers of izanagi as said

. Kabuto was not an uchiha nor did he wield izanagi as a technique. This obviously implies that the jutsu can be used outside of it's intended purpose.

The only reason Itachi went throught that whole picture process explaining izanami was to make it easier for Sasuke and readers to understand. It isn't limited by 3 pictures...that was neither stated nor implied. Itachi specifically said that it accounts for everything that happened inbetween A and A' (A.k.a. When the user Says "Izanami!" the first and second time).

The translation I read said it differently. NB,***********,mangakong and mangahere all have/had different translations.

Holy wow. What sarcasm? My sarcasm. You haven't done mathematical research, as it's impossible. There can be an infinite amount of characters available. And .8% would be only 125 characters by the way, not "like 200".

i think only appears that way because its not really a combat type jutsu. As itachi said its simply used on uchiha who get too full of themselves.

Izanami is not useless however, as it was not invented as an actual combat jutsu, and instead utilized to teach other Uchiha not to invest solely upon its counterpart: Izanagi. Izanami works by forcing the affected individual to make a different decision to break free of the illusion or instead suffer repetitious occurrences within their minds for technical eternity. Izanami as it was intended served its purpose perfectly.

Exactly this, people dont seem to have understood what it does and why.

To OP, while an enemy tries breaking free from Izanami the caster has enough time to land a fatal attack so in that regards its not useless aswell.

One reasons Itachi is so overrated and recieved a more ignorant fanbase is because of Izanami. People see Izanami as a one-shot technigue but the truth is that its the MOST USELESS technigue in Naruto. That move takes ALOT of prep tome and it only works on people who are "internally lost" with makes up for like 0.8% of the characters. The only character it worked was Kabuto and that wouldnt have happened if Itachi wasnt an edo. People like A, Guy, Muu etc wouldnt get caught in Izanami.

P.S. Izanami works by the sharigan user memorizing 3 "pictures" or scenes in their heads after performing them. Followed by a hand seal, the preps would be done. However, Izanami wont activate unless the user reperforms one of the "pictures." The user and then lose a sharigan while the opponent gets trapped in Izanami.

Izanami was only used by Edo Itachi because he was trying to teach Kabuto a lesson and end Edo Tensei. He was not trying to kill him. I guess Tsukuyomi would not world against Sage mode Kabuto.
