First itachi is one of the strongest ninjias behind the 4 hokage 1st 2nd and Sage of the Sixth paths on the naruto wiki the 3rd hokage said that he could lose to Itachi if itachi did not have bad chakra and second itachis susano is equiped with an unbreakerable shield that can block anything including a tailed beast bomb and itachis totskua blade can seal anything away both the jubi and itachis susano are roughly the same size while the rinnegan is strong but it pales in comparison with itachis susanoo
