As we all know the sharingan can control the nine-tailed fox, wether or not it is through some genjutsu is a different story. The point is if the sharingan can control the fox and Itachi gave naruto some secret power, could the power be Naruto controlling the fox or does it have nothng to do withe the fox?

wow I completely agree...
But what I think:
Naruto going wacked and going 8 tails when the seal broke, these events wouldn't effect Itachi's Gift because, it would only trigger when Naruto see's Sasuke's Sharingan, as Sasuke's did when he saw Madara's sharingan. other wise Im sure under Sage training he would/could uncovered it.
I just think to get at Madara most and help Naruto out... Itachi will tame Kyuubi for Naruto... once Naruto see's Sasuke's Sharingan.
I mean if Itachi wanted to stop Madara so bad why not take away his favorite weapon... the Kyuubi.
thats what my sig is about... but the thing is will Itachi appear in Naruto's inner self every time... or will it be a once off... because it would be cool if Itachi was inside Naruto's head and controlling the Kyuubi and also giving him advise on how to attack... maybe thats were Sasuke will meet Itachi again? to learn the truth...

i personally believe that itachis gift to naruto is either an anti genjutsu or an anti amaterasu or any other sharingan or MS technique since itachi him self said:i hope that you dont have to use it.

I think we will find out what the power is when we see the next Naruto vs Sasuke, I have no idea what it is though. It could be any of things stated so far in this thead or something completley different and unexpected

if itachi knew that sasuke will take hes eyes and make him imposible to be killed then he probably give something to naruto that will bring him to life again if he dies...

i think itachi implanted some kind of time released genjutsu into naruto. The same way he planted amaterasu to trigger when sasuke saw madara. I hope its some kind of genjutsu that would show Sasuke the truth of what really happened back when the hokage ordered him to be a double agent and kill the uchia clan. This would then make Sasuke see that Madara is the real monster

I have a stupid theory that Minato that Naruto saw when he was 8 tailed was actually Itachis gift (some genjutsu or whatever). That he helped him not release the kyuubi...

sur u r right he inplated a genjustu in naruto to stop saskue when he use sansso beacuse my kin from japan told me and there are going to be a new series of naruto when he can controll the kyuubi and dont forget he well also have sage mode and in japan it says he suppose to get power from two akasti members it probably well be kisame and konan.

I think Itachi sealed something like Susanoo into Naruto. Who knows just because he isn't a Sharingan user doesn't mean its not possible.
