[Discussion] Itachi's free of Edo Tensei, but he's still dead

Something bugs me a bit: Itachi broke free of the control of Edo Tensei, but he's still dead. I mean, he's still a soul trapped in a sacrificial body. Why doesn't kabuto just release the tech? Puffing him?

Also, Itachi was ill (of some unknown disease) when he died and blind. Nagato was weak from having synched with Gedo Mezo for so many years and when he died he was completly exausted of life because of his use of the Outer Path, leaving his hair white. So, why when Itachi is reborn, he has his MS and his full vitality and Nagato is still crumbling and can't really walk and has his white hair? Then he suckes chakra from the 8 Tails (biju chakra which is diferent from normal chakra) and his hair recovers it's color and he recovers all abilities.


Questions:
-Why hasn't itachi puffed yet and how long will he be "alive"?
-Is the Uzumaki chakra related to the Biju Chakra? That would explain their ability to life longer and to be able to have the 9 tails sealed in them and in some cases control them.
-Can Nagato use the Outer Path to revive someone now that he has more chakra? Can he revive himself for example? Why doesn't he break free of control?


Many questions but it bugs me this "imperfect" Edo Tensei as a plot engine...

I look at it as more of Itachi has over-rode Edo Tensei which controls him so Kabuto is unable to do anything at all with him.

That's just my thought on that. Not sure about any of the others though.

if he undues the jutsu then all edo tensei beings go as well. then hed have 2 start all over again.itachi was only sick. sense edo tensei is immortal sickness doesnt occur. nagato is healthy actually he just cudnt use his legs ever sense hanzofight and white hair sense naruto.

Well- I thought he would go puff if he broke free of kabuto as kabuto will release the jutsu-

There are two possibities- Kabuto hasn't released the jutsu since he was still getting valuable info and wanted to know what itachi was upto- he found out about shisui's eye so it paid him well.

Another is Itachi is really out of Kabuto's hand now and he can't do anything - so either- Nagato will go free as well and revive both of them or they both go puff after getting some kind of another peaceful moment..

As for Kabut and his Edos- Kabuto was quite talented but also arrogent and over confident from the start. When Oro was around he kept reminding him this time to time. Now he is on his own- I wonder if he is going to be one of those villains whose downfall will be mostly their own work.

kabuto cant touch itachi right now cuz shisuis utlimate genjutsu is placed on itachi overwriting kabutos tailsmens he placed into itachi mind giving him orders. so basically kabuto cant kill itachi hes lost a valueable pawn. and the joint shinobi force just gained one

Now about his sickness, that's nothing since he is brought back to life by a life Jutsu - you know what I mean-. He might and its only my prediction that he will go look for Madara to somehow kill him or weaken him at least or he might go to see this Kabuto because he is problem to Naruto and the 5 villages.

hah! Now about the Uzumaki Clan, I don't think such a thing could be possible at all. Its just that they combined to the Utchiha somehow would create the Rennegan or an unbelievable power (because once they were one).

The last question I don't really know but that is a bit impossible isn't it, how could he simple revive himself - that dead body we're talking about!
But it makes sense if he could revive someone else! (Except a controlled one)

Geez! there are so many question that are unclear!

Do you know why or what Itachi did to Nagato in firing that Amatrasu?

Finally I would like to say Itachi was underestimated, he considered many things before he died and he is really from the best completely in Naruto Shippuden. Also Naruto always says leave Sasuke to me and whatever.. , I wonder how and what he would do about Sasuke! This is one of the things that makes the best and main character be Uzumaki Naruto.

The only reason I can see for Kabuto not to release the technique is if doing so requires him to release all the bodies he ressurected.

To the edo tensei, i think it's possible for nagato to use it if he builds up enough chakra. I know it is supposed to only revive the recently dead, and that's why jiraiya couldn't be revived. But think of it this way. Their souls are in the sacrificial body, not in the pure world. I think it's possible because it returned them to a healthy body. So maybe if he tried it, it would give their body backs perfectly fine.

yupp that is true shisui mangekyou sharingan's genjutsu was waay to powerful and if sasuke were to get that naruto would be over. lol sasuke would have became good in a second.
