Not much more needs to be said. His credibility has been stretched so far that Kishi's character has become something totally different in the eyes of many people, almost kind of an inside joke about stereotypical fans of the series.

Why do people not take Itachi seriously anymore? Because of this "solo king" logic that gets thrown all over the place. He was a FAR better character for me before I came on to forums and started reading what people would say about him.

Itachi's fans only ruin his character if you let them.. I can't believe you let them affect you that way as for me I listen to what Kishi portrays him as.. not some random person on the internet.
