[Predictions] Itachi's fake death.

For me what happened was Itachi's plan. How?

He told Kabuto that he failed already, Why?

To force Kabuto to attack him and to let himself be cutted into half (which is I guess a Clone)

And now that Kabuto believe that Itachi is dead, Itachi can now take time to activate that jutsu (Izanami) from a distance.

Kabuto will not kill Sasuke, and Itachi knows that. So he left Sasuke to fight Kabuto for him to prepare or release his Izanami.

i also believe that the hand seal Itachi is doing here, will answer why he will still be in the next chapter.

Are you guys serious itachi cannot get beaten like that why because itachi already cast the izanami which is a reality to the one the user of izanami use it on remember and the people around him, so i'm pretty show kabuto will get beaten next chapter because izanami has been casted on him already.

The thread title is mega misleading if you havent read the chapter, Itachi is an edo dude him getting cut in half means nothing he already got impaled in this fight and was fine, hes not dead and it wasnt a clone, hes fine lol.

on a side note, how cool was it when kabuto summoned any of the sound 5 to use their techniques, and even Orochimaru's demon snake form :]

That hand sign is NOT Izanami. That makes it more confusing. Genjutsu's doesnt need hand seals. But im sure thats the answer of how he will come back after he was cutted into half.

There are threads that said Itachi is dead. So i just countered those with this. And also i know that he cant be killed. -__-

Izanami has clearly already been activated because itachi loses his right eye. For all we know, kabuto thinks he has cut itachi but he is trapped in izanami.
Even itachi's handsign looks like the one danzo did to activate izanagi

i think izanami works when someone wishes what would happen to the user, and inreturn what the you user wishes to the person he uses the technique,

kabuto desire: to let itachi be again his "pawn"(will resurect him again)
itachi desire: Defeat kabuto without killing him.

an example of this is (my prediction) sasuke being used with izanami when itachi killed his clan members.

Itachi desire: kill his most beloved friend in order to attain same eyes as his
Sasuke desire: Kill his brother

what happened: sasuke defeated itachi thus izanami effect take place, when itachi died sasuke attained mangekyo sharingan,

quote: "kill his most beloved friend" this does not meant only for not related by blood thus itachi can be sasukes closest friend.
