I quite liked Itachi's death.

Very well done, linked to his childhood (how he touched sasuke again with his fingers - very nice.)

Jiraiya's one was well done also.
Also links back at his time and he is proud of what he has done to raise a student like Narutos.

At the end, it shows how much these characters influenced the series and for them to go like that, it brings on another leader.

Itachi's wasn't sad during the whole Itachi was the bad guy thing, but later on we all felt the intense love for him.
