Totsuka blade cannot solo the chibaku tensei. It took the force of a rasenshuriken, bijuu dama, and yosaku magatama to destroy one created by an edo tensei nagato (weaker than alive version)
If the blade can destroy chibaku then why didn't Itachi solo it, instead he relied on 2 jinchuurikis to help him. Shame.

We have no idea how durable the sphere is but going by it's portrayal in the manga, and common sense, it would be wise to not underestimate it. It has enough gravitational force to create miniature planets and moons. And it took 2 jinchuurikis and susanoo to destroy it.
