Not alot of people are afraid of Itachi. They respect him due to his power. I am not saying he is weak, he is top 15 material. Wankers like you make everyone on the base hate him. Without Naruto or Bee, Itachi would have been KO'd due to Chibaku Tensei. Itachi saved Naruto and Bee, but Naruto and Bee also saved Itachi.

Chibaku tensei would've have killed itachi... he still had sword of totsuka.. he would have spammed 3 yasaka magatama to destroy chibaku tensei....

Naruto do the same when he makes multiple clones for multiple rasengans ... Naruto did that while taming the 9 tails

Sharingan
Seeing chakra is very handy in some circumstances. He can only copy what's in his ability to do. The "prediction" is a one-time only ability that has been forgotten about, it does however enhance perception so that movements seem slower. Fast opponents are still hard to deal with.


Koto Amatsukami
He couldn't use it since it was still recharging while he had it, and when it was finished he no longer had it. It's technically Naruto's ability.
Even if he could use it, he couldn't just whip it out. He'd need to summon his crow and rewrite the eye first.


Amaterasu
If it were as hot as the sun then Itachi would die too and the Earth's atmosphere would likely be ignited. Still a decent summary though, it's a fireball that can be directed by the user and can't be extinguished by normal means. Dangerous, but beatable.
First though he has to charge it which gives off a warning, and it also uses a large chunk of his chakra and damages his eye.


Tsukiyomi
Potentially one-shot, if they make eye contact, and it's also possible to resist or break it using a strong mental fortitude. Kakashi resisted it and Sasuke broke it with a high mental fortitude, Itachi also said that a Sharingan cannot stop it.
Also uses a large chunk of chakra and damages his eye.


Susanoo
A fair summary. A large, strong, durable... also slows him down, takes time to form, doesn't protect from underneath, and using it damages his body and drains his life-force.


Yata
Blocks and negate all attacks... from a specific direction, and can't stop everything.


Totsuka
Being hit with a giant sword is a one-hit gg anyway, it's sealing ability is highly overrated.


Magatama
Yup, Itachi's most powerful attack which is basically just giant shurikens.


Izanami
This technique isn't designed for battle and is almost impossible to pull off without help and great luck, at least against the level of opponent he'd need it against. This also makes him go instantly blind in one eye which robs him of two of his MS jutsus; Susanoo and one other.


Itachi's powerful, but his position in the manga is stated to be below Tobi and around Jiraiya. If he were any more powerful than that, he could had stopped Akatsuki himself.

Itachi cannot spam Yasaka Magatama because he will not be Edo. He especially cannot spam it while in Susano'o, as his chakra will be depleted. Totsuka Sword is innefective against Chibaku Tensei because 'Lord Itachi' did not one shot it. Instead he chose a different attack.

Also take note that Nagato is being controlled by Kabuto, someone who have never seen an actual rinnegan users and was basically experimenting on what the rinnegan can do.

As of now, Yata Mirror is only effective against paper bombs. We need to see more feats. Totsuka Blade might not even pierce the Juubi.

I have. I am also aware that the databook states that all Susano'o have Totsuka and Yata. Does Madara have Totsuka and Yata? Zetsu is opinionative, so most things he says is moot. He is not Kishi himself. He does not know everyone on a personal level and everyones jutsu.

Okay if we set a scenario where both of them are edo: Nagato still wins against Itachi

why? Because he can spam his techs too.

He can assist Chibuka tensei to pull Itachi faster by using Shinra tensei to push him towards the center of gravity in a flash.

Also both of them have sealing tech, whoever caught the opponent first will seal the deal.
It is highly likely that Nagato will caught itachi first with chibuka tensei rather than the opposite.
